The Vice President, Programming Finance is a key leadership position on the Peacock Finance team that will help drive the financial and operating growth of the streaming platform and play a support role in any new programming initiatives across the company. This role partners closely with strategic programming and content executives and is deeply involved in strategic initiatives of the business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Vice President, Programming Finance will play a key role in planning and managing budgets, driving operational excellence, supporting new initiatives, and ensuring strong controllership across the Content, Marketing, and Research departments.Work very closely with operational leaders to develop, communicate, and execute the priorities for the business in Content, Marketing, and Research.Responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting financial performance against budgets and forecasts through monthly metrics and operating reviews. Regularly monitor key financial metrics such as programming margins, discretionary costs and remote show costs.Partner with the operational teams, providing financial leadership and strategic insights to help them achieve the long range and short term operational goals.Lead strategic planning process and its tactical implementation across the Content, Marketing and Research departments.Be responsible for quarterly close and on-going planning activities such as Op Plan.

Minimum of 10 years of finance experience within a media, entertainment or digital content company.

Minimum of 4 years of recent relevant experience in a media programming finance leadership role.

Experience in media programming finance ideally combined with streaming service experience preferred.

Strong Programming analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.

Experience with seeking out, implementing and driving internal or external best practices.

Strong time-management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build consensus.

Demonstrated leadership skills, especially ability to influence and lead change in cross-function teams.

Strong computer skills including Excel: able to create forecast models, pivot tables, macros; and PowerPoint: able to create presentations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

CAS or FMP experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related field strongly preferred.

MBA and/or CPA desired.
