- Full Time
TVLine is looking for an editor to cover the TV business, primarily from a well-informed, historical, perspective while sometimes taking a cue from today’s headlines/programming. We are seeking a strong writer who boasts what can only be described as an encyclopedic knowledge of TV series past and present. (And by “past” we mean going back a ways, not just the previous decade.)
- Broad knowledge of TV, from ‘Leave It to Beaver’ to ‘Russian Doll’
- Be able to observe and analyze TV trends
- Expedient, instinctive turn-around time for “rankings” of all-time this and that
- Be a self-starter, enterprising
“All TV, No Interference” has been the TVLine mantra since its 2011 launch as the only website 100% dedicated to the coverage of television and only television, offering news, previews, scoops, spoilers, recaps, interviews and more. (No celeb gossip here!) The most social television site read today, TVLine delivers well-curated content to passionate, engaged and smart television viewers, reaching everyone from loyal TV fans to industry insiders. As for the staff? Across the board, we all love working here. And you will, too.
