SYFY and USA Networks are looking for a talented, intelligent, passionate and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The Social Media Coordinator will help support the social media team in all of its social marketing endeavors. Reporting into the Social Media Manager, you’ll help oversee the creation and execution of social media campaigns to engage with our consumers, grow our active fan bases and help deliver against aggressive marketing goals for the business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Copywriting & Content Publishing Manage social media agency with oversight on social content strategy, social tone of voice and creation of show specific content calendars for each social platform Review paid media rollout to maximize impact and reach of show specific contentTraffic weekly show content per show to ensure delivery posting dates are metCollaborate with in-house and agency creative counterparts on needs and best practices for contentConsumer Engagement & Audience DevelopmentManage surprise and delight projects aimed at increasing brand favorability and loyaltyMonitor social conversation across pages and contribute to reporting needsSupport on-the-ground at events or special episode initiatives for high profile campaign launchesSocial Media StewardshipUnderstand the social media universe and stay current with social media trends, language, outlets, and resources to achieve the best performance on social platformsPartner with social media platforms directly to pilot new features and share new trends and technologiesWorking Relationships/Key StakeholdersPartner with key cross-functional teams to gather key priorities that need to be socialized Act as a contact point between social media agencies and internal stakeholders supporting network or show specific social initiativesAdministrative SupportGeneral administrative responsibilities in support of projects, Social Media Manager and Vice President, Social MarketingAssist with creation of marketing presentationsResponsible for management of budget and invoice submission
Qualifications & Competencies:
• Knowledge and passion for social media platforms and emerging trends
• Have strong multi-tasking skills, and a respect for deadlines
• Attention to detail and project management
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proven experience with MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Proficient in Photoshop.
• Passion for the unique brands and programming of SYFY and USA Networks
• 1+ years experience in entertainment, social media, and/or marketing
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
