Role Summary
The Cox Business Security Inside Sales Manager leads assigned inside CBSS team agents to achieve Cox Business sales goals.  Hires, trains, and coaches performance of inside agents to ensure corporate sales and retention strategies are followed and goals are achieved.
Responsible for providing lead and appointment setting support to the national field based CBSS sales force. Handles all inbound phone traffic towards qualifying the prospects and advancing the opportunities to quality field appointments. Oversees setting appointments directly to proper territory CBSS rep. Assists in lead management and updates of all leads up till an appointment set or sale. Leads rehashes all prospects toward final disposition of appointment or no interest. Works efficiently in all data bases required such as LeadPro, Optix, Icoms, and others. Daily oversees and also makes outbound calls to CB customers, new businesses, existing leads and other data sources toward setting field sales appointments. 
This position leads the CBSS Sales COE team and listed functions, while also participating in them. Work involves multitasking in; working in various systems, taking both inbound and making outbound calls, time management and creativity in outbound prospecting. Strong working knowledge of CBSS products, services, features, benefits, and general pricing. Role is inside, requiring majority of work day at desk and on the phones.
Inside Manager responsible for both leading inside agents functions, with oversight and participating in them as well.
Major Tasks
Develops a professional sales culture.  Serves as a role model for the sales team in all aspects of the business.  Balances the urgency of meeting budget goals with focus on team success.  Hires and builds a sales team that has the ability and resources to achieve sales and retention goals  Coaches, develops and manages the performance of the inside agents to ensure they have the capabilities required to meet targets.  Serves as a subject matter expert or advisor on selected customer sales and handles issues escalated by team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience 1+ years in related field to above job tasksRequires basic knowledge in computer skills Demonstrated leadership and management skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service/sales skills, all via the phoneSkills in adaptability, applied learning, customer service orientation, high impact communication, multi-tasking, PC skill, quality orientation, reasoning, sales aptitude, and tolerance for a structured work environment in order to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Preferred 
1+ years of supervision experience, preferably within an inside call center environment1+ years experience in inbound and outbound phone skillsPast CB and/or security industry experience Efficient in CB systems: LeadPro, Optix, Icoms, BID, TOMs Strong sales acumen and phone skills
