Role Purpose
The Manager, Platform Communications will be part of the Reliability & Performance team where they will be responsible for overseeing the creation of all process documentation for Platform Operations and providing daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting for the Reliability Engineering group.

  • Working with Platform Operations team to document workflows and create process documentation for managing the day-to-day operations of the Direct-to-Consumer digital platforms, i.e. change & incident management and launch readiness
  • Oversee launch readiness process, ensuring that all new features or significant changes have been fully vetted by the Reliability & Performance team prior to production deployment
  • Work with Incident & Change Management team to produce daily executive and operational reports outlining production incidents and status of completed and upcoming planned changes
  • Coordinate with business to understand any significant events planned that would impact operations and ensure necessary communications and provided to reliability engineering, operations, and delivery teams
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board to review proposed releases and changes to Production for any release communication requirements
  • Assist Technology & Operations team with presentation preparation and formats, ensuring that all communication meets group standards

  • Basic Qualifications
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience managing complex change and software launch processes, including experience identifying scope and documenting workflows and processes
    • Experience with ITIL tools such as ServiceNow and project tracking tools such as JIRA
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues and executives
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes such as Agile
    • Ability to work across team boundaries to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned in delivering according to group standards and best practices

    • PMP highly preferred
