Role Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy and Operations, this role is focused on driving Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects. Leads a dedicated team responsible for optimizing Supply Chain performance/maturity and the customer experience by defining and enhancing the alignment between business processes, technology and platforms. The position considers the transformation of the organization and value stream aspects of business processes and identifies performance and metrics to ensure continuous, sustained improvement across the department.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Develop a team of Process Manager 3 & 4 and provide thought leadership focused on Current and Future State design incorporating process and customer experienceDevelops and maintain strong partnerships with Supply Chain leaders and boundary partners to ensure coordinated implementation and deploymentsInteract with customers and employees to understand the true needs and requirements for a future state – while challenging senior leadership / SMEs to “lean out” processes to reduce cost and streamline the Supply Chain journeyProvide a strategic direction for programs and projects focused on efficiency and customer experience – specifically around eliminating waste, reducing transaction, and achieving our “brand values” as they relate to the customer experienceDefines operational and strategic approaches to ensure business success by managing, sustaining and continuously improving business processesCollects and evaluates operational, service, and performance data from “best in class” companies to identify opportunities to enhance the overall program.Build and manages detailed project plans to ensure the team meets key deadlines associated with business needs.Analyzes new business requirements and identifies and recommends the most effective approach and resolution to issues. Develops proposed budgets for SVP approval and manages the project budget once approved. Work in an agile environment to ensure lean processes and customer experience is maintained through the design and rollout of projects.Drive “Fix Now” opportunities as they arise across Supply Chain divisions – work with corporate/regional/local teams to pilot/implement/control process changesDevelop training and adoption material to support Go-Live and Hypercare activitiesDrive implementation of desired “to-be” process including customer experience and the “new way of working” within the process, policies and systems. Ensure efficiency gains envisioned in the “to-be”, become a reality, and the associated benefits are realized.QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 or more years of experience in related field (i.e. change management, business process design, etc.)
  • 7 or more years of experience if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
  • Must possess a solid foundation in understanding all aspects of the telecommunications industry; i.e regulatory, financial, engineering, operations, provisioning, and technical understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical problem solving, listening, written, and verbal communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Ability to identify and understand issues and develop solutions
  • Strong project leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and milestones.

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline


  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, iGrafx, Statistical tool (Minitab / SAS, etc..) and Visio
  • 5 or more years of experience in a management role preferred or leading cross-functional projects
  • 6-Sigma/Lean Certification

Travel may be required on average from 20% to 30%, but could be as high as 75%, as business dictates
