Purpose of the Role: The Supplemental Specialists will be responsible for all of the following activities related to the respective territory in achieving revenue and expense target/goals for supplemental
Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Regional sales of supplemental product and core product services and practice based services Working with RVP/ASD to target of districts/schools as follow up to core sales as well as independently targeting districts Work closely with services and supplemental product team in being a strong conduit of information to the regional core teams. Bring services and supplemental product expertise to the region for both strategizing and selling. Aide in the understanding of funding in order to drive services and supplemental sales. Successfully Implement HMH Selling Strategies Best Practices while position services and supplemental as an important piece of the Connected Teaching System.
- Prospecting filters (demographic, student achievement, and sales data) Consultative and Exploratory Sales Strategy Deliver Solution Based presentations aligned to customer supplemental and services needs Account collaboration with core team
- Must have prior educational publishing/technology sales experience Must demonstrate the ability to deliver HMH Solutions presentations via PowerPoint and live demoing Focused, discipline and has the sales skills to move opportunities thru the sales process Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with SFDC a plus Knowledge of Macintosh or PC platform Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word 4 Year College Degree required-teaching or educational experience a plus Graduate degree/professional certification a plus 1-3 years sales experience with a proven track record in meeting quota. Educational/Technology sales experience and teaching skills are desirable
