We are looking for a Sales Director in our NYC office. The Sales Director is responsible for educating and selling prospects on the value of Brut.'s branded video content. This role will work an assigned account list and leverage existing relationships with brands and agencies to present Brut.’s unique and effective way to engage Millennial and Gen-Z audiences. The best candidates are creative and not afraid to ask questions; they bring a natural curiosity, a tenacity to not give up, and they are comfortable presenting at both a tactical and strategic level to agencies and clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing relationships at both agency and client direct
  • Develop leads and build the revenue pipeline
  • Superior analytical skills and a firm grasp of customer needs; ability to identify problems and present solutions to clients
  • Assess potential deals, through inbound RFPs while pursuing proactive opportunities 
  • Maintain proper adherence to company standards for data entry/utilization in Boostr
  • Meet all revenue goals 
  • Effectively forecast monthly and quarterly sales to SVP, Sales & Marketing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in digital media sales
  • Proven track record of selling branded video content 
  • Passion for helping brands tell compelling stories that align with the mission of Brut.
  • Experience at a startup with the ability to work across a breadth of verticals
  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to learn more and improve skills
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating with both internal colleagues and external clients
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with using a CRM (Boostr used at Brut.)
  • Extremely strong work ethic
