PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Purpose:

Creative individual, who possess strong communication skill, the ability to multitask as well as insight into marketing concepts and promotional procedures with strong eye for wardrobe styling. Responsible for supporting the Merchandise Specialist in all endeavors. Will work with The NBC Sports and Golf Channel Stylist and Golf Channel Merchandise Specialist to gain hands-on merchandise experience as well as to develop styling abilities and practical wardrobe skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Merchandise Specialist in daily administrative tasks
  • Work with Merchandise Specialist to communicate trends and product knowledge to all departments helping to keep them updated with what the current trends are
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with associates and all levels of management.
  • Work with Merchandise Specialist to source and fulfill product requests and provide follow up associated with departments
  • Act as a point of contact for information, materials, and samples for all Golf Channel Departments
  • Respond to requests and resolve customer service issues by following company protocol.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors and suppliers in an effort to speed up and streamline procurement processes
  • Maintain a detailed and current inventory of all talent wardrobe and merchandise items
  • Maintain crew and talent size and contact database
  • Quality check and fulfill all Golf Channel department and Golf Channel event merchandise orders
  • Assist with department billing and expense submissions
  • Assist in talent wardrobe and crew gift distribution
  • Work with Production Managers to ensure they have complete wardrobe kits onsite
  • Work with Stylist and Merchandise Specialist to select, quality check and distribute talent wardrobe package


  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in retail
    • Proficiently in Excel and PowerPoint
