Job Purpose:
The Project Manager is a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) of NBC Entertainment Digital’s Technology & Product organization. As a Project Manager, you’ll be overseeing projects that produce digital products or technology for NBC’s streaming services. The Project Manager’s primary responsibility is leading teams to successful launches and secondarily continually improving processes and communication to further the efficiency of project teams. This role reports to the Director, PMO of the NBC Entertainment Digital.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manages execution and delivery of projects by teams both internal & external and onsite & remote
  • Develops and implements project plans, monitors and communicates progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Assesses issues by identifying likely root causes and consequences
  • Sets expectations regarding process and outcomes, navigating changes that arise and escalating issues appropriately
  • Identifies gaps and anticipates risks; takes action to connect parties, address risks and determine solutions
  • Facilitates and navigates development process using software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Continually looks for potential areas of improvement
  • Effectively builds relationships with peer teams to influence project priority

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience
    • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Atlassian suite
    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Agile methodology
    • Scrum Master certification preferred
    • Product Owner certification preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree
