Minimum 3 years Media experience (wide array of Media platforms).
The Director of Media role reports into the Senior Vice President of Media for Focus Features and partners with the media coordinator to develop and manage all aspects of a media campaign. This role is integrated, so a strong background in both digital and broadcast media is preferred. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position that requires creativity, improvisation, organization, and communication at a high level.
<li>Works closely with agency partners to develop media strategy.
<li>Manages timelines for media plan delivery and media schedules for US and Canada.
<li>Reviews planning materials, recommendations and schedules.
<li>Works with agency to develop and execute negotiated media promotions.
<li>Works with internal creative leads to request and gather necessary creative materials and assets (for media promotions, OOH).
<li>Works with creative department and agency traffic group on commercial clearance and rotations.
<li>Reviews and approves media/agency invoices.
<li>Works with Marketing Operations to coordinate integrated timelines and calendars across all marketing departments.
<li>Works with Universal Promotions to secure promo partner media schedules and timelines
<li>Ensures all media recommendations and schedules deliver on strategic objectives and tactical goals; supported by clear point-of-view/rationale that aligns with overall strategy.
<li>Timeliness and accuracy of all internal and external deliverables.
<li>Timely and contextual delivery of key information (internal and external).
<li>Develops deeper agency and media vendor relationships.
Firm understanding of Media agency operations and planning.
Proven relationship building skills, problem solving, attention to detail, and priority setting.
Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office, Syndicated Media Research tools, timeline and presentation software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
