About the Team

TechRadar has been at the forefront of Tech coverage for years/months/weeks/days, and now includes a great blend of news, how-to content, reviews and buying guides on the greatest equipment around and the best accessories to go with them. It’s the place where everyone, from the enthusiast to the dabbler, can come to get all the information they need to make the right purchase and use the technology they’ve bought.

Job Purpose

TechRadar’s surge writer needs to be someone who can see in-between the reader’s needs. To be able to tell what they would like to read and do it better than anyone else on the web… taking in the right amount of knowledge to give authority in reviews without getting caught in pointless details. We need someone who can have a clear view of the whole industry and have the skills to flip between delivering the best deals on the web to writing tech-based how-tos when instructed by the Global Managing Editor.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be equally at home solving users’ problems, helping them make the best decisions and keeping them informed of the latest news. This is an opportunity for someone to be part of a new team within TechRadar.

Surge team members will get great experience across all sections of TechRadar and be able to contribute to any topic the brand covers already, or decides to explore.
