WWD: Sponsorship Sales Director – B2B

Fairchild Live, the experiential division of Fairchild Fashion Media - brands include WWD, Beauty Inc and Footwear News, is adding to staff with a Sponsorship Sales Director.  Fairchild Live hosts 30+ summits, forums, and events annually to encourage innovation across fashion, beauty, footwear and retail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generating and achieving revenue targets
  • Managing event budgets and profitability for the division
  • Ideating on new revenue streams and conference opportunities.
  • Co-manage team of 11 sellers and solely manage attendee sales team of three.    

Job Requirements:

  • Experience growing and leading B2B revenue strategies through media, conferences, events and other custom media opportunities
  • Developing and driving new and fresh revenue opportunities 
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop new opportunities for the business, ideating new event formats and other B2B offerings
  • Outlining the yearly vision for the B2B business including annual conferences and events
  • Success forecasting and monitoring budgets and revenue targets
  • Oversee marketing of B2B opportunities including calendar promotions, speaker highlights and new opportunities
  • Manage B2B sales team selling sponsorships and integrated packages into live media, traditional media and events
  • Manage the attendee sales team responsible for $3M in annual sales for ticket conferences
  • Assist in developing key industry relationships and marketing partnerships
  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
