The Project Manager role is equally responsible
for independently leading all day to day activities of small to mid-sized
project(s) within the overall portfolio of the assigned business or technology
domain. The Project Manager works with the product owner(s), scrum team(s) and
technology teams in translating the product vision into a workable project plan
within the overall agile process. This Project Manager is then responsible for
leading the planning, monitoring, execution, and successful completion of their
projects– on scope, budget, and schedule and meeting all project metrics for
quality. The Project Manager will manage the expectations of all stakeholders,
including customer, through transparent and proactive communications.





o    Facilitates
the ongoing creation of Business Cases and Project Proposals/Briefs ensuring
projects are evaluated, approved, queued and executed in priority order within
the program.





o    Facilitates
tracks and reports on key project metrics and details providing the visibility
and transparency needed for proactively decision making sponsons and
stakeholders via aggregated information relating to details (e.g. delivery
timelines, budgets and key risks)





o    Facilitates
regular project status meetings to ensure business sponsors and other key
stakeholders share a common short and longer-term project perspective.





o    Leads
& Facilitate all aspects of the project management process e.g. quarterly
planning, leading project status meetings and supporting scrum team, supporting
backlog management, tracking team progress and ownership of team metrics.





o    Monitors
and controls projects by managing project milestones, scope, budget, issues and
risks ensuring appropriate corrective actions and interventions are enacted in
a timely manner working collaboratively.





facilitate and implements communication strategies and plans to ensure status,
activities, accomplishments, issues, and risks are communicated.





o    Provides
process leadership, direction, and support to project/scrum teams by reviewing
deliverables prepared by the team, identifying opportunities for improvement,
contributing to the continuous improvement of best practices and providing
thought leadership to the PMO processes.






















Elicits cooperation from a wide variety of
sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments using
expertise as a facilitator maintaining a 6 plus week focus and perspective for
the Team.





Judgment.  Able to quickly assess what information is needed to make
decisions including when escalation is required.  Often able to make decision on their own.





Risk Management. Good at identifying Risk and Opportunities as
well as actively managing them to closure.





Team Leadership. Role model for non-direct reporting team
members able to determine when help is needed. 





Ownership and

Takes responsibility and accountability for project success criteria.  Valuable as a leader and as a team member
completing tasks and/or providing key data for decision making. 





Learning Agility. Demonstrated ability to learn new skills
including asking the right questions to gain understanding.  Has a high level of comfort dealing with
ambiguous and new situations.





Process Adherence. Able to determine which project management
processes are necessary to achieve optimal results. Produces an audit trail
through their projects.





Business Knowledge. Good understanding of Agile standards. Easily aligns
project/programs to stakeholder goals. Intermediate experience working with
Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Rally or similar.






  • Education: Bachelor’s degree +
    Project Management Certification(s) or equivalent
  • Experience: 3-5 Years
