Care Resource is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with various locations in areas such as: Midtown Miami-Dade, Little Havana, Miami Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.  We have been providing comprehensive health and support services for over (30) years to address the healthcare needs of our Pediatric, Adolescent and Adult populations in South Florida.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Marketing & Graphics Design Associate supports the Marketing and Development department in the coordination and the design of all health center’s marketing campaigns including graphic, website and administrative support as needed, all to further the organization’s mission, goals and visibility in a measurable way. In conjunction with the Health Promotion and Communications Manager and other members of the Marketing and Development team, he/she will also assist with content creation, review, posting and dissemination of all health center’s communications.


Job Responsibilites:

Assists with measure and report performance of all development and marketing campaigns, and assess against goals

Coordinates marketing requests from the marketing help desk as assigned while meeting deadlines

Along with the Marketing Associate/Communications, participate in the creation of marketing campaigns and marketing materials for health center promotions and initiatives in three languages

Creates artwork and layouts for all marketing and development collateral (print and digital) including ads, flyers, banners, billboards, brochures, direct mail pieces, posters, signs, t-shirts, annual reports, web banners, event tickets and invitations following deadlines and budgets set by supervisor

Controls online features and coordinate online resources for both desktop to mobile platforms to ensure the health center’s website remains compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act’s (ADA) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Supports external PR, Marketing and developmental activities as required

Submits and sizes all digital ads to appropriate media outlets, companies and partners.

Ensures Care Resource identity and  brand book standards are met (logos, fonts, pantones etc.)

Develops ideas and manages graphic design projects for all marketing materials for programs and events

Manages the internal and external process of the health center’s advertising layouts and placements

Ensures permanent updates of all digital media including agency websites and social media channels

Works closely with the Events & Motion Graphics Specialist, the Health Promotion and Marketing Manager, and with third party vendors, external consultants and subcontractors to meet project deadlines, as assigned

Aids in the production and distribution of agency newsletters and direct mail pieces

Supports the development and implementation of measurable social media campaigns that inspire conversations and influence action

Supports the development of and adherence to editorial calendar to ensure content, graphic and video assets are being released on time

Ensures proper hand washing according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or related field required.

Training and Experience:

At least two years of experience in Public Relations, Communications and/or Marketing are required with a track-record in working with a team in the coordination of Marketing, Public Relations and/or Development campaigns. At least two years of experience in graphic design including fluency in a professional graphic software required. At least one year of web design experience a plus. Experience in healthcare marketing strongly desired.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

Bilingual (English-Spanish/English-Creole) preferred. Proficient computer knowledge of word, excel and publisher is required. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), HMTL, PhotoShop, and Acrobat. Excellent communication skills including writing are required. Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines in a timely manner are required. Good decision making, outside of the box thinking, creativity, project management, problem solving and teamwork skills are necessary. Ability to work with multicultural and diverse population and a vast network base in the community and press is required.  High energy level, detail-orientated and self-motivated.
