This is a project / limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. The hours of this role will be varied depending on the department's needs.Produce and edit video content for linear, web and social platforms; candidate must be able to edit high volume, as well as high quality elements to work for multiple distribution outlets; projects/assignments will have wide-ranging lengths and degree of skill. Assist show/content producers with all aspects of production including writing, segment producing and other technical skills, along with contributing and executing creative ideas to all productions.Basic Qualifications:
- 1-year minimum video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or related editing software.
- Prior experience producing content in a newsroom environment is preferred, with emphasis on ability to see ideas through to completion in all aspects.
- Knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
- Minimum availability of 15-20 hours per week, including weekends and nights
