US Science & Technology Editor

Dailymail.com, the world's largest English-language newspaper website with over 220 million monthly unique visitors, is looking for an experienced and talented Science & Technology Editor to join its US team.
From NASA discoveries and Neanderthal research to the latest news out of Silicon Valley, candidates must be confident in writing and editing stories on a wide range of topics.
Suitable candidates will have a strong track record in spotting trends, writing compelling copy, and managing a team of reporters. They will have an understanding of digital 24-hour news and the processes and pressures that come with operating in this environment.
Applicants must be able to find and break stories of national and global interest, as well as turn their hand to the occasional creative feature for this office-based role.
Prior experience in online publishing is essential, as is a broad knowledge of science and technology matters.
