Responsible for overseeing, developing and executing strategic entertainment marketing campaigns supporting full slate of Universal Pictures theatrical releasesLead creative development of integrated advertising campaigns including television, print, creative content, digital/social media; in-store point of sale, packaging, premiums; includes approval process internally (senior marketing execs, brand managers, legal) and externally (brands, filmmakers, talent)Serve as partner’s main point of contact, ensuring brand consistency across all elements, and coordinating with filmmakers and theatrical marketing to develop impactful co-branded campaigns.Lead and guide junior members of team, including one direct reportOversee Partnership division’s marketing and publicity initiatives including talent/filmmaker public appearances, special shoots, press junkets and field promotionsCreate pitch materials including sales presentations, reels, sell sheets and moreManage department’s creative asset distribution internally and externallyOversee departmental budgets
The Director, Marketing and Creative is responsible for the account management and creative development of promotional marketing and creative campaigns. Group builds, develops and manages strategic partnerships between corporate businesses and the Motion Picture group. The focus of this position is to oversee domestic partner campaigns. Position reports to Vice President, Marketing & Creative - Domestic Partnerships.
•5-10+ years of experience in strategic marketing at a motion picture studio, advertising agency or large brand, specifically working with promotional partners and developing creative integrated advertising campaigns in the entertainment industry

•Experience working with filmmakers, talent and/or creatives
•Deep knowledge of promotions business
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop clear and consistent messages across many different stakeholders
•Creative & strategic thinker, resourceful, self-motivated
•Possess strong initiative/follow-through and able to anticipate the needs of the Account Management Team; adept at multi-tasking and prioritization
•This person must also be flexible, entrepreneurial, resourceful, professional, and yet a team player.
•Ability to manage upwards to multiple supervisory inputs and be capable of working as a member of a team as well as independently
