Position Summary:   

 

The Bilingual Commercial Business Development Representative position. The position requires a high activity approach to selling and
marketing commercial vehicle auto sales across Canada. The rep will be
responsible for contacting dealers/wholesalers across Canada and encouraging
their participation in upcoming auctions. You will be tasked with achieving target level volumes in weekly
conversation volume, and dealer attendance. The representative will work in the
NGC/MANHIM Business development centre closely with the Manheim commercial team.



 

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:






  • Must be knowledgeable and educated on all products and services that Manheim,
    Ready Logistics and Cox Automotive offers

  • Must speak English and French
  • Develop an aggressive activity plan that is consistent with the company’s
    sales plans, strategies, and objectives.

  • Maintain consitantly high activity (Conversations per day, Talk Time, Call
    Time)

  • Deliver Manheim commercial insights to prospects
  • Have a general understanding of the inventory solutions process
  • Maximize auction participation for commercial events
  • Hit target levels of performance in auction participation and sale
    conversion.

  • Work closely with the Manheim commercial sales team


















Qualifications:Job Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:



 

  • Knowledge of:
    • Automotive Industry (various sectors)
    • Inside Sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage
    deadlines

  • Must be self-driven and comfortable in a high
    pressure, results driven, and fast paced work environment

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with
    ability to manage high volume of electronic and voice communications

  • Ability to proficiently utilize CRM systems (i.e.:
    SFDC, MS CRM)

  • Ability to manage problems and objections with
    solutions-based approach

  • Must have a proven track record of success in inside
    sale/telemarketing





















 

Education and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or
    equivalent required

  • Fluent in French and English (Written and Oral)
  • Post-Secondary degree
    preferred but not mandatory

  • 1+ years of experience
    in inside sales/contact center

  • 1+ years’ experience in
    auto industry preferred

  • Experience in B2B
    preferred but not mandatory

     














 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Sitting, standing for extended periods of time
  • Computer work
  • Occasional bending, lifting
  • Driving – must have a valid driver’s license
  • Travel- must be willing to travel occasionally if needed
