This Role…

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations who will be responsible for driving growth through effective implementation of processes, technology, and metrics for the marketing organization.  In this role you focus on the design, execution, and operations of the marketing function’s processes, tech stack, solutions, and analytics tools.

This is a new and critical role for the marketing function. You will need deliver accurate, insightful analysis to drive decision-making throughout the organization through data management and innovation. And you will be the bridge between the IT, BI, and marketing functions.

This is an engaging and hands-on role that requires an individual who is capable of functioning and excelling at both a strategic and tactical position.

Make an Impact by...

  • Managing implementation and optimizing usage of marketing automation platforms (Segment) and related system integrations, including Web, CRM, ERP, and other marketing tools, working closely with IT, and other functions as needed.

  • Leading marketing analytics efforts to demonstrate channel effectiveness and overall business impact.

  • Managing and optimizing all digital and social media channels; lead strategy to streamline and optimize paid media efforts.

  • Working closely with analytics team, data providers, advertisers, and the marketing team to devise various ways to segment and improve the utilization of data.

  • Partnering with IT and Business Intelligence teams to develop and manage data governance best practices to ensure the highest level of data quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability through policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Developing smart, compelling dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators while identifying trends and monitoring marketing performance.

  • Partnering with marketing managers and specialists in analyzing campaign performance and making data-driven decisions.

  • Establishing and maintaining scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.

  • Implementing and tracking digital marketing campaigns using web analytics to improve channel/campaign performance, while maximizing ROI of marketing campaign.

  • Utilizing internal and external resources for data cleanliness and completeness to maximize marketing insights gathered from analytics.

  • Preparing quarterly reports for all channels.

  • Training and mentoring other marketing team members to foster best practices around customer centric marketing practices and digital experience.

  • Driving additional process improvement projects as needed.

What you Bring to this Role…

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience, three (3) of which are in a marketing operations role, with two (2) years’ experience in managing direct reports

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, or other related concentration

  • Ability to gather, analyze and derive insights from marketing data (e.g. Google Ad Words, DFP Marketing attribution platforms, Brightspot CRM, and Google Ad Manager

  • Strategic thinker able to translate highly technical content

  • Data minded individual able and turn analysis into insights to drive goals and decisions

  • Proven writing skills for content marketing campaigns

  • Resourceful, diplomatic and professional; deliver outstanding customer service while managing relationships; a can-do attitude and work style that supports teamwork (and lead teams when necessary), collaboration and positive relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent listening skills and presentation skills to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively

  • Commitment to lifelong learning
