Fairchild Live: Designer, Experiential & Marketing

Fairchild Media is adding a Designer to the events team in the New York office to work on our Summit’s and Events brands: WWDFootwear News and Beauty Inc. This will include creating marketing and branding materials for events, websites, promotional pieces and other advertising as well as large scale format on-site digital and print pieces. The candidate must show a deep understanding of the B2B fashion market and how to design to this corporate space. This position will report directly to the Creative Director.

You will:

  • Assist with design strategies, production and printing of advertising and marketing promotional campaigns, sales materials, and program/event collateral and signage
  • Coordinate projects including native advertising executions, conceptual mocks, email blasts, digital advertising units, sponsored and branded videos, engaging sharable social content, and branded print and digital content
  • Contribute input and provide consistency to the brands’ identities and strategies
  • Support the team across all touch points for the 20+ annual events.
  • Maintain a good source of creative resources
  • Evaluate and use reputable vendors to achieve high quality marketing and advertising collateral

You have:          

  • Related BA/BS degree and 1+ year’s related work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of conceptual design—both for the digital and print market, including the production processes and procedures.
  • Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite; PP and AE knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of UX best practices, html/CSS, and product/prototype software [Sketch, Xd, etc…].
  • Ability to set and manage multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines and budgetary objectives
  • Proven people and project management/organizational skills; able to work in a team environment in a flexible work environment, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Work that ideally includes luxury/high-end brands.
  • Knowledge of any of the following is a plus:  fashion, publication, video, social media, experiential.
  • Must be able to show ideations and concepts, and demonstrate presentation skills.
