Fox News' Creative Marketing team is looking for a creative and experienced After Effects and Avid Media Composer Editor. This is a unique hybrid role that encompasses design and editing. You should have an ear for sound, vision, design aesthetics, and have great communication skills.
You will be offered one of the following shifts, but may vary depending on breaking news situations: 12pm- 8pm ET either Monday – Friday or Wednesday – Sunday
All candidates must include a link and/or copy of your reel (your own work) to be considered.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver potentially 2-3 promos daily with a tight turnaround time
- Edit and design long-form pieces such as 1 minute Fox Nation trailers
- Edit and design high energy sales sizzle trailers
- Communicate, edit, and design clearly with producers and editors
- Ensure promo spots are executed to the highest quality standards
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a video editor
- High level of expertise in both After Affects and Avid Media Composer
- High level of design aesthetics
