The Fox News Media award-winning Branded Content Studio is looking for a New York City Based Freelance Video Editor. We’re looking for a proven storyteller that has cut for agencies, television entertainment, and promos. The Freelance Video Editor will be in charge of delivering a vast range of video products and will work closely with producers/directors’ vision to meet the client's needs. The ideal Freelance Video Editor is proactive with a positive “can-do” attitude that sets the tone for post-production.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Organize footage and sync
  • Conform projects for color and mix
  • Create lower thirds and small graphics
  • Multi-task and solve problems
  • Deliver across digital, social platforms
  • Sound design
  • Staying on top of the industry trends

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe suite and editorial workflow
  • Understand basic codecs: ProRes, H.264, MFX, RED Raw
