The SVP of Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Solutions will elevate and activate the FOX Portfolio messaging to key media decision-makers. Reporting to the EVP of Ad Sales Marketing for FOX, you will be responsible for leading the Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Solutions team in support of overall revenue generation for the FOX Ad Sales Portfolio. This position reports to the EVP, FOX Ad Sales Marketing.


  • Apply a creative lens to deliver best in class Marketing Communications strategy, insights, and activation across the FOX Portfolio footprint
  • Elevate the FOX Portfolio and increase revenue potential across key clients/categories through proactive and reactive FOX Portfolio Solutions
  • Promote the FOX Portfolio and vertical brands (news, sports, entertainment, streaming) as industry leaders through Industry Engagement and Client Experience partnerships and events
  • Provide the FOX Ad Sales organization with Marketplace Intelligence and Insights across categories, clients, and the overall media industry
  • Overall passion and knowledge across media, culture, and market trends to ensure our Ad Sales organization is most informed
  • Marketing Communications:
    • Develop and lead our overall FOX Ad Sales Portfolio Brand messaging and communication strategy, through a creative and authentic approach
    • Help drive growth across the FOX portfolio by applying a client-centric mindset and consultative approach to position FOX platforms and assets against our clients’ business challenges and drivers
    • Partner with our Portfolio product sales teams to build industry positioning and clear client benefits
    • Strategically align Portfolio brand messaging across the year with our verticals, including key leadup timing to the Upfront
  • FOX Portfolio Solutions:
    • Play an internal quarterback role on larger portfolio client presentations to drive a clear vision and strategy, delivering solutions in partnership with our Sales teams
    • Develop a coordinated approach with Sales to build revenue opportunities for emerging categories and clients
    • Partner with sales leadership to advance a consultative selling strategy for FOX Portfolio of assets
  • Industry Engagement/Client Experience:
    • Manage and maximize our thought leadership opportunities through industry conferences/events & partnerships across the media & marketing industry (ie, CES, Cannes, ANA, IAB, AdCouncil, TFQ, etc), as well as for “native” events (ie, FOX Upfront)
    • Clearly, creatively and effectively communicate our FOX Ad Sales positioning through the development of programming opportunities at industry/partnership events
    • Lead communications ecosystem planning and narrative around industry/partnership events
    • Maximize the value of existing partnerships while constantly evaluating the marketplace for opportunities
    • Oversee management of CRM Contacts database in partnership with our Business Systems & Strategy team
  • Marketplace Intelligence & Insights:
    • Work collaboratively across the FOX sales and marketing organization (ie. Research and Intelligence teams) to discover insights and applicable FOX strategies that can be leveraged for the strategic development of FOX categories and clients
    • Build industry category expertise across challenges, audiences, insights, and strategy to inform our internal sales organization as well as engage senior clients
    • Develop internal and external publishing calendar


  • Minimum of 18 years of experience across strategic brand and/or comm’s planning or leadership role within marketing/media industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required, an advanced degree is a plus
  • Exceptional Media Industry Knowledge:
    • A passion for, and strong understanding of, media and advertising and the transformation that is happening
    • Experience across a variety of platforms, categories, and accounts
  • Strategic Ad Sales Marketing Skillset:
    • Deep understanding of the strategic approach to marketing and communications plan development
    • Analytical expertise with a strong data-informed and strategic point of view
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Apply a creative approach to marketing communication planning
    • Be thoughtful and entrepreneurial in the approach of bringing the FOX Ad Sales brands to market through creative solutions, always thinking with a lens of how to market new/differently/better while remaining true to FOX brand values
  • Proven Management Skills:
    • Experience managing and overseeing Ad Sales marketing teams and building/executing strategy in a fast-paced, creative sales environment
