We are looking for a Manager, Sales Marketing Brand Partnerships, TMZ to join our Ad Sales Integrated marketing team at TMZ! As the Manager, Sales Marketing Brand Partnerships, TMZ you work collaboratively with national ad sales, editorial, pricing and planning, ad-ops, legal, and production to develop and execute large-scale, sponsorable campaigns across TMZ’s wealth of Digital platforms. You will also assist in the development of TMZ’s go-to-market positioning for the media buying marketplace.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Manager will partner edit, research, social and integrations teams to answer client RFPs, help to cultivate pro-active sales opportunities, and assist in the development of fresh marketing collateral to generate advertising revenue for TMZ.com, TMZ on TV, TMZ live, TMZ Sports, and toofab.com
- Assist with and own the development of sales materials and RFP work including recaps for digital franchise, tent pole opportunities, and case studies
- Evaluate categories and assist in developing a sales/marketing strategy to capitalize on opportunities
- Liaise with digital inventory team for pricing and assist in the media plan creation process for proactive sell sheets/big ideas
- Maintain communication with sales reps and managers on account status (weekly sales status)
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports relating to sales and service productivity (weekly delivery report)
- Coordinate the production process and assist in the execution of sold custom campaigns across TMZ digital platforms
- Help to facilitate with larger brand strategy decks that complement revenue-generating opportunities
- Maintain monthly brand positioning one-sheets, newsletters, and quarterly audience updates for Ad Sales
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Minimum 3+ years' media and/or publishing experience, preferably in ad sales marketing, sales development and/or advertising media planning, and marketing
- Ability to be an attentive team player, self-starter able to prioritize responsibilities who is extremely innovative, creative, professional, and resourceful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including thorough knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and eye for design)
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline drive environment, a great attitude, impeccable follow-up, and great attention to detail
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be willing to work in New York City, NY
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
- Team player with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with clear attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
