Manager, Ecommerce Merchandise Marketing

Fox News Media is looking for a highly motivated and driven Manager, eCommerce Merchandise Marketing with online retail experience and an entrepreneurial spirit. The Manager, eCommerce Merchandise Marketing will assist the Director with the daily operations of the eCommerce store and product management of merchandise across Fox News Media including Fox Nation, FOX News, and FOX Weather. The Manager, eCommerce Merchandise Marketing will work across internal teams to source new products with wholesale suppliers. The Manager will also manage relationships and projects with our inventory and fulfillment partners, while working closely with the Marketing team to drive sales and create a seamless online experience for our customers.

Candidates must be comfortable with high levels of ownership. The candidate must work the full product cycle as well as be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce business. Candidates will interface with many different groups and must balance the logistics of product development and procurement with marketing efforts to drive sales.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all online merchandising initiatives; new product launches, email blasts, digital marketing activities
  • Assist in the execution of website visual merchandising strategy
  • Sourcing of products with wholesale suppliers
  • Ensure the integrity of product copy and photography
  • Keep up to date on competitive landscape, identify and analyze trends, and stay on top of newness in the market
  • Liaise with cross-functional partners to execute new product launches from concept to creation
  • Uphold brand and product integrity across categories and markets
  • Responsible for user-testing and maintenance of all faceted data on the website
  • Review top search terms and use data to tweak and improve results to increase conversion
  • Analyze site metrics to connect web behavioral profiles to customer, sales, and merchandising data
  • Track online sales, monitor trends, and provide regular sales data reports

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3+ years of merchandising/marketing experience specifically with online and/or retail websites
  • Energetic with a can-do attitude and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent time management skills; able to manage concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
  • Responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent attention to efficiency
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and working knowledge of digital asset management systems
  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in reporting insights and performance based on analysis of data
  • High level of ownership of projects
