We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to design and implement digital analytics solutions across the Fox News & Fox Business digital product portfolio. As the Sr Data Analyst, you work with operational stakeholders, product development, and data engineers to build the infrastructure to provide critical data to drive audience and business growth. You are a problem solver who can comprehend the information needs and challenges of stakeholders across multiple business cases. You have the technical ability to translate those needs into a concise framework of measurement requirements that you can communicate to engineering teams and see through to successful implementation. Additionally, you have the capacity to act as a data analyst who empowers strategic decision-making through detailed analysis, insights, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). You must hold accuracy to the highest standard and have the ability to troubleshoot anomalies at any point in the data pipeline and work with data technicians toward prompt resolution. As the Senior Data Analyst, you are fluent in the end-to-end flow of data from consumer to stakeholder.



  • Partner with operational stakeholders to understand their business goals in order to define analytics requirements and end-user reporting
  • Work closely with product developers and data engineers to design and implement measurement solutions across myriad digital platforms and initiatives
  • Perform Q/A and troubleshooting of data implementations and database services
  • Work closely with database engineering team to enhance data collection and identify new data sets that can be queried and utilized in future reporting
  • Understand data governance and implement best practices in data management to uphold data integrity


  • Operationalize and maintain standard campaign reporting for key stakeholders
  • Leverage database queries, statistical analysis and institute streamlined data reporting best practices
  • Identify cohorts and trends for how users are engaging with our digital content across platforms, devices, topics, etc.
  • Use data modeling techniques and tools to analyze large databases and complex data sets to derive insights and predictive analytics
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and deliver actionable reporting to multiple departments including: Executives, Digital Ad Sales, Finance, PR, Marketing, Editorial, Product & Technology


  • 2+ years in digital analytics/data strategy
  • Experience in solution design and implementation for digital product measurement for web, mobile apps, OTT
  • Advanced knowledge of database applications: SQL, AWS, Athena, Redshift
  • Experience with translating 1st & 3rd party data such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Optimizely, etc.
  • Understanding of Python for data manipulation, automation
  • Ability to query across multiple datasets with join and merge functions
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel functions, formulas, VLOOKUP function and pivot tables

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics; Statistics; Mathematics; Economics; Business; Computer Science; Data Science
  • Basic understanding of ETL platforms and functions
