We have a great opportunity for a Freelance Research Manager!!! In this role, the Freelance Research Manager is responsible for the execution of higher-level ratings and insight analysis from data sources that track FOX News linear and digital products, including competitive. The assignment is directly tied to our upfront selling efforts, story creation, estimating and driving creativity in our research efforts.

The Freelance Research Manager will provide audience tracking trending reports; oversee the distribution of daily weekly reports, highlight network/program performance; effectively respond to ad hoc information requests from Ad Sales; work with the SVP in development, ideation and project management of various analysis, sales pieces and maintaining and updating all research database systems. The Freelance Research Manager will also interact with Ad Sales Marketing on key audience story development.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day research contact for key internal constitutes, including the line Ad Sales Teams and FOX Business Network Editorial team.
  • Support Sales Efforts on Digital Platforms.
  • Subject matter expertise to digital sales team on syndicated research tools.
  • Create sales collaterals and one sheets as part of quarterly report out.
  • Collaborate with the SVP in developing and facilitating various analysis projects and initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5 years+ experience in analyst-level work in media research. Knowledge of ad sales process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong functional working experience with Nielsen, comScore, Startrak, NPOWER, Nielsen Ad Intel, and MRI/Simmons

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skill.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced postgraduate degree
  • Agency experience in a research or planning function

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $102,500.00-137,500.00 annually. We provide Freelancers with healthcare and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
