Content Producer (Radio World)

Description

This position is primarily responsible for creating and deploying Radio World’s digital content under the guidance of the content director (Editor in Chief). As Content Producer, your main duties are the creation and management of the daily Radio World SmartBrief newsletter, management of Radio World’s social media presence and creation of its digital edition deployment assets. The producer is also responsible for writing and editing content about broadcast radio and new audio technology and companies, and advising the editor on these topics. The role will also support creation of print issues, digital supplements and events as assigned, as well as relevant projects such as NAB Daily, Sneak Peeks and RW Sourcebook.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in digital, magazine and/or event content leadership or other relevant experience
  • Exceptional journalism instincts and skills; writing, editing, assignment
  • Knowledge of radio/audio/media technology industry and trends
  • Command of social media platforms and techniques
  • Leadership ability to manage freelance pool
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work across departments toward a common goal
  • Exceptional time management and self-motivation abilities
  • Command of SEO techniques and other digital best practices
