The Tech & Learning Event Manager will work with the content, marketing, and commercial teams to manage all operations, budgets, and attendee and sponsor logistics to ensure every event is successful for both attendee experience and commercial goals.

As part of Future’s global events team, known as a centre of excellence within the organization, the Tech & Learning Event Manager will be responsible for running a portfolio of approximately 15 live events and 50 virtual events per year in education technology.

Success will be measured by meeting and exceeding event attendee experience and budget goals for new and legacy Tech & Learning events. The role also requires continuous event innovation and evolution to support Tech & Learning’s mission to be the top event resource for K-12 and higher education professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience running virtual events preferred
  • Initiative to think quickly on your feet. You’re enthusiastic and hungry to take the lead on projects.
  • Can manage senior level attendees and manage their expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional weekend travel for events.
  • Non-profit or education events operations experience a plus.
