Hearst Media Production Group is seeking an Assistant Editor to join post-production. This role will be responsible for managing and prepping incoming and outgoing media for the editorial team.
This position reports to the Executive Producer (Head of Post-Production).
This position is based in Burbank, CA.
Duties & Responsibilities
- File management
- Light graphics (within Premiere)
- Creating ancillary deliverables such as press release stills, show clips, & music cue sheets
- 2+ years of relevant experience in digital post-production
- Military training from Defense Information School (DINFOS) with related experience will be considered
- Mastery of Premiere is a must
- Experience with AfterEffects and Photoshop preferred
- The ability to adapt and work quickly under short deadlines
- Understanding of video codecs and workflows
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highschool diploma or GED preferred
