The International Sculpture Center (ISC), publisher of Sculpture magazine, has an exciting Media Sales Manager position available! Sculpture magazine is the only non-profit arts journal representing contemporary sculpture, with a global audience and beautiful design.

The renowned organization with 60+ years of history developing partnerships in the field is looking for an individual with experience selling integrated, multi-media advertising plans across print and digital. This opportunity offers remote work and flexible hours, all while working within the remarkable realm of contemporary sculpture.

The successful candidate will establish new relationships while cultivating current accounts, utilizing the ISC’s print and digital assets. Creativity, flexibility, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to this role.

Any candidate with a connection to and passion for contemporary sculpture in all its forms, and a history of establishing and maintaining media sales agreements, is encouraged to apply.

The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1960 to champion the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. Members include sculptors, collectors, patrons, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, and museums—anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture.

Duties include

  • Selling new accounts while maintaining existing accounts.
  • Delivering sales presentations to prospects utilizing our proven methods.
  • Collaborating with ISC and Sculpture magazine staff to establish and target advertising prospects and potential partners.
  • Handling all aspects of customer accounts, including financial and production duties.

Employment Requirements

BA required

Media experience, particularly across digital and print advertising sales, required

Non-profit experience preferred

Art background a plus

Design experience a plus

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

History of outstanding customer service

The ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Willingness to work in a team environment and multitask needs of multiple departments

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Constant Contact
