Overview:

Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Manager, Marketing & Communications to act as a partner to the Senior Director, Academic Marketing & Communications and the Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid for the School of Law.

This role is vital in developing and executing integrated marketing and communications programs that build awareness, interest and on-going engagement for recruitment and retention of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact and marketing and communications lead for the School of Law
  • Manage the execution of assigned projects, while ensuring consistency and communications effectiveness across all audiences and channels
  • Attend and actively participate in all faculty, school status and planning meetings
  • Become a contributing member of the school's support staff on all communications efforts, providing direction, leadership and/or overall management/support
  • On an ad hoc basis, contribute school-related story writing for qu.edu, QU Magazine as well as student/faculty profiles and event coverage
  • Ensure complete and updated content throughout law.qu.edu
  • Develop email communication to prospective and admitted students
  • Lead and manage the development of all print collateral and digital, such as the viewbook, financial aid packet, scholarship brochure and other prospective student materials
  • Manage, develop and post all content on the School of Law social media accounts
  • Partner with the marketing leads to identify, analyze and address content voids, deficits and opportunities
  • Participate in internal meetings to stay on top of project/team status
  • Develop and maintain planning calendars that builds on successes and learnings from prior years
  • Collaborate closely with staff across departments to ensure marketing reflects and communicates the Quinnipiac brand and adheres to brand standards
  • Stay current with higher education marketing trends, developments and best practices, and assess strategies of peer, competitor and aspirant institutions
  • Utilize supplied data and analytics to regularly assess and optimize plans to increase marketing effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred

    • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years in a marketing / agency role required
  • Must be able to work with attention to detail, while under pressure, within deadline
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with different timelines
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to a varied audience
  • Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
