ABOUT THE ROLE is looking for an executive producer with at least 8 years of experience in the video production field and at least 2 years in a senior role. This is a great opportunity to work with an award-winning digital-video team on an exciting media brand. The position will oversee a production team creating a diverse range of original digital content.

Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with extremely strong organizational skills and superb creative storytelling skills. This person will report to and work closely with the SVP of entertainment to ensure that all videos fulfill the editorial vision and meet the overall goals of each brand. Duties also include generating story ideas, booking and executing shoots, and working closely with the director of production to ensure the team adheres to the publishing schedule.

Salary range: $112,500-$157,500 + bonus eligible. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry, and education.


  • Managing multiple projects from start to finish, with a razor-sharp eye for details and strong managerial and organizational instincts
  • Actively producing video series from start to finish. This is a hands-on role and not strictly supervisory. Must be willing to grab a camera and jump in
  • Developing new series at a regular pace
  • Ensuring that the production, editorial, and technical quality of all videos meets the company’s standards
  • Providing editorial guidance to the producers
  • Overseeing a team of producers, managing their output and technical proficiency as well as helping develop story angles, overseeing the scripting process, and giving notes on videos


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal/written communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for creating sharp, compelling digital content covering the world of business, news, tech, design, and entertainment
  • Strong collaboration skills, with ability to work closely with Inc’s edit staff
  • Solid editorial judgment, with the ability to recognize compelling stories with great potential
  • Expert in field producing and the ability to manage creatively and effectively is a must. Background in journalism is a plus
  • Strong shooter with understanding of field equipment (Canon 5DMKIII, Canon C100/300)
  • An understanding of how to develop content for a variety of platforms (on site, YouTube, social media)
