ABOUT THE ROLE

Inc. and Fast Company, two award-wining business-to-business media brands, are each seeking to fill Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing roles. The ideal candidate is a media savvy, creative thinker and storyteller with a proven talent for conceiving, and marketing multiplatform client solutions for leading advertisers and marketers. For positions at each brand, a solid understanding of business and industry – from strategy to innovation, from the entrepreneur to the enterprise – is preferred.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Integrated Marketing at the respective brand, your key responsibility will be to develop best-in-class media programs and platforms in response to RFPs from agencies and clients, as well as proactive pitches by sellers. Collaborating with Sales, Editorial, Branded Content, Events, Product, and more, you will craft compelling, stand-out proposals that exceed client expectations, win the advertising/sponsorship business, and, as a result, grow our brands.

As such, the Senior Manager will be a top-flight proposal writer, experienced at generating unique ideas and programs that offer engaging and results-driven marketing solutions for advertising clients. You will work with stakeholders across the Inc. or Fast Company media portfolios to ensure proposals and programs deliver upon client KPIs, but you will have ultimate responsibility for what we pitch in all forms of marketing collateral.

Additionally, the role will include management of marketing materials and strategy for selected brand franchises, plus existing and new platforms.

Salary range: $79,000-$110,000 + bonus eligible. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry, and education.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with sales, editorial, digital planning and custom content teams, as well as outside partners and vendors to create and craft fully integrated marketing programs that meet or exceed client objectives
  • Conceptualize, develop, write, and edit clear, effective and concise proposals in response to RFPs and proactive sales efforts
  • Deliver best-in-class idea-generation, program storytelling, and sales material creation as you manage your assignments in timely fashion
  • Ideate across the brand portfolio as you team with sales, planning, and leadership to enhance current initiatives and develop new opportunities to grow ad revenue across digital, social, experiential, print, and branded content platforms
  • Manage creation of brand marketing materials and proactive sales materials and opportunities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-5 years of media marketing experience, emphasis on client solutions, content strategy, custom content
  • 3-5 years of proposal, presentation writing experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines and short turnaround times
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media/marketing and industry trends, syndicated research, events, promotion and added value
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Excellent writing and storytelling talent
  • Genuine interest in and understanding of business and industry – from the entrepreneur to the enterprise
  • Bachelor’s degree
