The Director is a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) of Peacock’s Technology Delivery organization. As a Director you’ll be managing a team responsible for the execution of NBCU’s TVE products – platforms include Web, iOS, tvOS, Android and Roku – and collaborating with Backend, DevOps, QA and Support teams to guarantee market delivery success. Your primary responsibility is to ensure releases are lauched on time and of high quality via effective team and stakeholder communication and risk mitigation. This role reports into the VP, PMO Peacock.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Project Managers overseeing large-scale and high priority programs and projects

  • Recognize interdependencies across programs and apply learnings and governance with the team

  • Present to senior executives effectively and clearly

  • Introduce process improvements and tools to enhance efficiency

  • Strategize with VP, PMO on resource planning

  • Mentor, coach and devleop direct reports

  • Motivate the team through challenges and obstacles via positive and /or creative solutions

  • Proactively identify and pursue new stretch targets and opportunities for themself and their team

  • Maintain objectivity in face of conflicting viewpoints



• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• 4+ years of managing direct reports
• 6+ years working with SDLC methodologies
• Expertise with Atlassian suite of development tools
• Bachelor’s Degree, MS/MBA preferred

• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Track record of developing and managing high-performing teams
• Proven experience with successful delivery and management of digital products, particularly in streaming technology
• Adept in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with keen attention to detail
• Strong people skills and ability to work across functional teams
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
