Role Summary
The NBCUniversal Creative Group is an in-house creative agency at 30 Rock in Manhattan that partners with internal businesses and departments to produce consumer, employee and trade promotions, campaigns and communications. We’re looking for a designer to join our creative team who thinks conceptually, brings a fresh perspective and has work to back it up. The ideal candidate is adept at design, keyart, digital, social, outdoor, AE animation, basic HTML, brand creation and extensions. You love to collaborate, share ideas and create great work fast. You’re a pop culture fan with 3-5 years agency, in-house or successful freelance track record who’s comfortable in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting clients or Account/Project Managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
  • Estimating the time required to complete the work and help to provide quotes for clients
  • Develop design based on creative briefs that suit the client’s purpose and goals
  • Thinking creatively to produce compelling ideas
  • Presenting final ideas to Creative Directors and/or Account/Project Managers
  • Working with a range of media to produce engaging work across platforms
  • Working as part of account, creative, design, production teams to produce memorable work that moves the needle


Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Studio Arts, or related field
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
•Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or After Effects

•Must be willing to work in New York, NY
•Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
•Must be 18 years or older

•3 years of professional experience in graphic design
•Proven ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
•Strong project/time management skills
•Experience in brand identity
•Ability to work in a variety of platforms
•Highly organized with strong attention to detail
•Ability to take initiative and problem solve
