The Sr. Manager, Technical Operations Business Continuity & Disaster Response will be part of the Technical Operations Assurance team and will help execute the strategy and various work streams of the business continuity/ disaster recovery, compliance, and vulnerability management programs for Peacock.
  • Provide integrated strategy, process, and playbook for disaster recovery/business continuity across all of the Direct to Customer organization.
  • Designs policies, standards, and playbooks for technical resiliency for applications, networks, and platforms including technical resiliency data collection, tools, and artifacts.
  • Develop strategic testing schedule of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Plan and oversee completion of disaster recovery and business continuity plan testing.
  • Ensure reports detailing results of completed disaster recovery and business continuity plan tests are issued to management within required SLA.
  • Provide analysis of disaster recovery, business continuity posture, identify risks, recommend changes and track remediation activities.


• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business continuity, crisis planning, emergency management, facilities/critical systems management, security planning, compliance or related role
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale system implementations and change management

• Ability to travel as required

• Consultative-style – able to provide excellent client-service while also able to diplomatically push back with alternate approaches or solutions
• Hands-on and tactical with the ability to implement and execute
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent personal leadership skills – proven ability to build, develop and motivate a team
• Proactive, well organized and results-oriented, with the ability to lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing complex projects and providing solutions to business challenges
• Experience with a digital media direct-to-consumer business highly preferred.
• Proven success in process improvement for large, complex operations
