DIVISION PROFILE
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

OVERVIEW
The Assistant Manager, Sales Planning & Administration supports the U.S. Television and New Media sales team. The Asst. Manager is primarily responsible for processing Pay TV, Free TV, Basic Cable and New Media license agreements for the U.S. territory. Extensive data analysis using Excel is required, as well as product research on various websites and other internal applications. Partners with external vendors such as AMC Networks, FX Networks, Disney, Warner Media, and Viacom Networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and interpret deal summaries and license agreements in order to enter and maintain license terms in contract/availability management and inventory system.
  • Track and maintain Excel reports to help manage product, processes, notices, and contract terms.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales Administration and, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Distribution Services.
  • Assist with the reconciliation between the in-house databases and processes.
  • Prepare and distribute contractual client notices.
  • Keep organized and accessible files.
  • Research and verify product rights and metadata.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and other related duties as requested by management to support the Sales Planning and Administration functions.

    DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
  • Ability to interpret license agreements to effectively handle deal entry and deal administration.
  • Demonstrated data analysis & computer proficiency with strong emphasis on Excel is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Analytical / Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and committed to integrity driven results.
  • Must have effective practices to follow-through on projects and effectively prioritize.
  • Must work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Film industry experience, particularly in sales planning and/or administration is preferred.
  • Experience with filmed entertainment sales tracking applications is helpful.
