The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for communicating NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships positioning and initiatives to the advertising ecosystem. The Marketing Coordinator will manage day-to-day coordination of native, curated, thought-leadership experiences, both for internal and market-facing audiences, as well as conferences and industry events (CES, Cannes, Advertising Week, World Economic Forum, etc). This individual will play a key role in managing our divisions e-mail communications process and communicating between trade marketing, creative partnerships, corporate events, corporate communications, finance, and legal to keep all groups aligned and on track to meet our strategic goals.

Reporting to the Manager of Client Experience, this position will support the NBCU Ad Sales Leadership Team and the Office of the Chairman supporting the annual strategy to deliver NBCU Ad Sales’ message priorities to two key audiences:
  • The internal Ad Sales team (through Leadership offsites, email communications, etc.)
  • The advertising marketplace (clients, agencies, and partners)

Responsibilities:
  • Own the marketing communications process and calendar as well as all communications sent to our larger marketing database (gather materials, create, coordinate all aspects amongst teams)
  • Monitor email analytics to generate trends and insights and develop best practices
  • Manage data systems; includes creating Excel worksheets, Pardot email system, Salesforce Trade Contact Lists, Splash Events Tool, and owning other data-related projects as part of our CRM ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Business Automation and CRM teams on various CRM and performance marketing projects such as the development/optimization of processes, onboarding new marketing tools and internal training
  • Assist the marketing manager and communications team with social media marketing efforts for the Advertising and Partnerships handles as well as certain Advertising and Partnerships Executives
  • Manage the RSVP and list gathering, analysis, and attendance reporting process for current events
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data for both RSVP analysis, and for e-mail trends
  • Code and submit invoices
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Corporate Events in event activation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate specific project requests
  • Assist in creating communication plans and timelines for external & internal events
  • Assist Client Experience team with various marketing-related requests
  • Project management pieces of larger events and projects (i.e. working with creative team)
  • Create additional event-related collateral as needed (i.e. lookbooks, timelines, grids, etc)


Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ years of experience with an agency, client, media company, or sales organization background
• Superior Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs; exposure to database tools, email marketing tools and/or Salesforce a plus
• Social media marketing experience also a plus
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
• Must be confident executing leadership’s direction in a fast-paced workflow
• Strong organization and project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Exhibit core behaviors (e.g. clear and concise communication, client service, strategic thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented)
• A “Jack-of-all-trades” with a no task is too big or too small attitude
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and travel as needed to support event efforts
