The Sales Insights Manager is responsible for leading the development of sales-driven and analytical solutions for NBCU’s linear and digital products in Latin America. The Sales Insights Manager will work closely with the Regional Sales Insights Manager to be a consultant to the sales, marketing, and creative departments. The Sales Insights Manager will also be the go-to person for all audience and market intelligence information for the PAN regional and Brazil markets for commercial purposes.

Job Duties
  • Leads the Sales Insights function in Miami, helping the commercial teams drive revenue for NBCU’s linear and digital properties in the PAN Regional and Brazil markets
  • Contributes data driven insights for developing successful sales strategies that are instrumental for reaching revenue goals
  • Analyzes, synthesizes, and generates qualitative and quantitative information relevant to advertisers for making marketing and media spending decisions
  • Provides actionable insights for the sales, marketing, and creative departments that will help in reaching established revenue goals
  • Collaborates with the sales team to present insights findings to clients
  • Educates the sales, marketing, and creative departments on the latest market trends
  • Develops sales-driven and analytical solutions using various data sources
  • Prepares periodic audience reports for both linear and digital platforms
  • Maintains the insights, sales, marketing, and creative departments up to date with industry changes, case studies and regulatory impacts through internal and external networks
  • Acts as the NBCUniversal representative for key Research and Industry committees/events
  • the latest market trends
  • Works under the direct supervision of the Manager, Regional Sales & Insights and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor


Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Ad Sales research experience required including experience with TV, cross platform, agency and/or consumer research
• Demonstrated proficiency with TV and digital metrics tools, such as IBOPE Media Workstation, TGI, and ComScore
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Communications, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Advertising, Media, Psychology, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Proven quantitative and qualitative skills, including both analytical abilities as well as math proficiency
• Exhibits strong understanding & knowledge of behavioral and primary research data
• Must be fully fluent in Spanish (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated advanced expertise using Microsoft Office applications including Excel (pivot tables and macros a plus) and PowerPoint
• Exhibits ability to identify, distill, and articulate clear and actionable brand stories, insights and recommendations from a variety of data sources
• Exhibits knowledge and understanding of the television industry relevant to broadcast, cable and new media, including research terminology and methodology

• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID_19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVD-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior managerial experience strongly preferred
• Exhibits ability to lead and align individuals across different levels of the organization
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English strongly preferred
• Previous experience with Facebook analytics, TGI, Social Bakers, Auditsa, Google Analytics, and/or Adobe Analytics is a plus
• Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo) is a plus
• Ability to drive big data analyses, creative storytelling, data visualization and presentation development with a client mindset
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven and rapidly changing environment
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
• Effective self-starter and proactive thinker with an innate curiosity, bias for action and desire to push beyond the status quo
• Proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships across departments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
