The Position 

NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management, from sales enablement to sales operations, from product marketing to strategic communications, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $10B+ annual advertising business. Together, we’re building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

The Customer Solutions team within Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for leading the product development processes for the technology solutions delivered to our advertising partners. We are currently seeking a Product Manager, Digital Partnerships to help drive customer innovation and deliver high-growth ad products across NBCUniversal’s ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative person who is passionate about media and advertising innovation, cares about customers, and understands the value of good user experiences.  

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Ops, Strategy, Data, Content, and Engineering teams to deliver best-in-class product offerings 

  • Define multiple product roadmaps and execute our monetization tactics through various streams (e.g., video & display ads, commerce, native, newsletters, subscriptions) in collaboration with strategy and editorial teams

  • Develop and manage scalable product sets across multiple publishers and editorial brands

  • Conduct frequent proof of concepts with cross-functional stakeholders to inform successes and identify roadblocks and risks when activating new product solutions

  • Oversee technical integrations, define product experiments, and iterate to improve user experience and business value

  • Source internal and external customer feedback to advocate for prioritized implementation with technical teams 

  • Lead processes internally and externally to ensure successful product launches

  • Stay apprised of US and global advertising, monetization, social, and publisher trends



· 4-6+ years of experience working in media, preferably involving editorial, monetization strategy, and ad product development

· Proven track record of owning customer-facing product solutions across multiple publisher brands

· Fluency with data; can dissect and interpret market dynamics and user behaviors, measure product key metrics, identify pinch-points and communicate succinctly next steps to executives

· Experience collaborating with publishers and brands at different stages of monetization development

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to take the seed of an idea through launch while prioritizing effectively to get things done 

· Knowledge of technical and operational product and project requirements 

· Fluency in sales, planning, ops, and reporting workflows

· Proven ability to understand and communicate using technical language (e.g., APIs, requirements documents, agile systems, etc.)

· Proven history of creative problem solving with autonomy 

· Ability to effectively communicate and influence across a variety of platforms, as needed (e.g., messenger, video conferences, in-person gatherings, phone, email, etc.)
