East Coast Regional Sales Rep

Level: Manager (Supervisor)


Reporting to the VP of sales, Studio Services, the East Coast Regional Sales Rep will be responsible for creating leads, developing new relationships with clients. The position will be responsible for all east coast sales efforts by expanding the sales and growth of existing core services and products, while developing and expanding market opportunities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for engaging with internal and external physical production leads to develop and maintain stable relationships
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives by forecasting and developing clients
  • Leverage current industry relationships to position Universal Production Services as the premier provider of lighting, grip, and transportation support solutions to the film and television industry
  • Relentlessly identify opportunities to grow customer base and build positive relationships to increase revenue generating opportunities
  • Maintain and Build Production Services / Cineo market segment including network TV, cable shows, feature films, streaming and alternative programing in the east coast marketplace.
  • Manage customers’ expectations while driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and track competitor activity and provide intelligence to identify shifts in the marketplace
  • Drive complete understanding of the competitive landscape within production support


● Minimum 5 years of Sales Representative expertise within the Film and Television industry
● Thorough understanding of the Physical Production Process from pre-production to Principle Photography to be able to relate to potential customers and provide solutions to their challenges
● Knowledge of all motion-picture, television, broadcast, and events support services, along with continuous shifts that are taking place within the industries competitive landscape
● Understanding of sales strategies and knowledge of the lighting industry
● Experience working with and supporting multiple stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
● Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including executives, operational supervisors, and front-line crew
● Ability to navigate through very complex situations and personalities
● Ability to coach employees, encourage teamwork and promote high standards of customer services
● Strong communication and written skills
● Strong computer skills: ability to understand multiple operating systems
