Penske Media Corp. (PMC), whose award-winning content across 23 media brands attracts a passionate monthly audience of more than 310 million, is looking for a Director of International Brand & Partnership Operations to join our team in NYC. The International Brand Director will work with the global networks to ensure our industry leading brands remain the leading voices in their markets. To be successful, the International Brand Director will learn and understand each of PMC’s brand’s editorial mission and current strategy to be able to communicate that to each of our partners, and will work with the international partners to review their editorial plans, brand strategies/products, and brand extensions to ensure they align with PMC’s vision.

Across its key brands, PMC has a large number of International Media and Brand Licensing Partners; a significant set of new partners will be added this year.

What You Will Do:

  • Be the day-to-day brand liaison between all our international partners and our US based editorial, marketing and event teams
  • Share best practices and brand guidance across all channels – print, digital, social, events, product licensing, etc.
  • Cross-pollinate ideas across the global networks
  • Conceptualize original content and events ideas with international partners
  • Create and update editorial/brand style guides
  • Liaise with US production teams to ensure timely delivery of editorial/brand assets to local partners via PMC’s DAM systems
  • Train new brand partners on PMC’s brands
  • Coordinate with editorial and legal teams to ensure content rights are cleared as needed

Your Skills and Background:

  • 4+ years’ experience in media industry in an editorial / brand manager role. International experience a major plus.
  • Impeccable communication and relationship building skills
  • Deep understanding and comfort with digital media and online publishing
  • Experience in Music, Entertainment, Fashion, and Luxury industries a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and deliver projects on time
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Travel 10-20% of the year
  • Multiple language fluency is a plus
