Sourcing Journal: Sales Coordinator

Sourcing Journal Media is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join its sales team. This dual role will manage ad trafficking and performance as well as assist with customer service duties. Ad operations is a critical function at Sourcing Journal and as such, it requires a person who is able to juggle a variety of tasks at various stages of completion. Must be flexible, accountable and show grace under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage ad scheduling in Salesforce CRM/Placements IO and Mondays
  • Gather and traffic all client artwork, including working with clients to secure creative ahead of the scheduled run date
  • Serve digital creative sent by clients via Google Ad Manager and Exact Target email marketing programs
  • Working with corporate newsletter developers and ad ops teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize site/newsletter ads
  • Collaborate with sales and creative to gather and schedule collateral for in-house promotions
  • Collaborate with corporate production team on print ad submissions to ensure proper ad placement
  • Coordinate magazine distribution with corporate distribution team
  • Coordinate cross brand promotions with counterparts throughout FMG media
  • Track advertising sales revenue for review by the sales and finance team, as needed
  • Track ads that have run through screenshots on a daily basis
  • Create metrics reports for client campaigns, pulling data from multiple sites and databases
  • Work with accounts receivable to ensure proper invoicing of each client
  • Report issues to corporate development team, working with them to coordinate and ensure proper optimizations are put in place
  • Handle customer service requests related to Sourcing Journal events
  • Cross train on entering sales orders in Salesforce and paid promotional placements through social channels
  • Assist sales team in creating client decks pre/post-sale

Qualifications:

  • One year of ad operations/customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Excellent attention to detail
