SHE Media: Marketing Manager

SHE Media produces premium content that informs and inspires the world and the SHE Media collective is comprised of creators* who use their voices to connect, inspire and build bridges. Through our flagship editorial sites and our proprietary Network of creators and publishers, we create digital and live event content that matters.

To help us achieve our mission, we’re adding a Marketing Manager to the SHE Media Partnership team who will develop, manage and produce innovative PR and marketing strategies, and engage in productive relationships with industry partners in support of growing awareness and adoption of SHE Media’s assets. S/He will work to promote the corporate brand, flagship editorial sites and events (including sheknows.com, STYLECASTER, Soaps, and BlogHer), our Partner monetization platform, as well as elevating the collective of Creators in the SHE Media Partner Network through B2B, B2C, and PR opportunities.

We are seeking a strong marketer and writer who can develop and amplify compelling content, social and email campaigns, award submissions, and all associated collateral.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience in content marketing, digital media, agency, or brand marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute content marketing campaigns to support ongoing and opportunistic initiatives.
  • Build the SHE Media voice through thought leadership, engagement and growth via email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Devise and manage successful paid marketing campaigns to amplify SHE Media brand assets via Social, Search, Email and other paid partner channels
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to measure campaign success; must be willing to dive deep into the identify trends, key insights and make actionable recommendations based on specific campaign KPIs
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales, Partners, Editorial, Design, and Leadership stakeholders to develop new campaign messages, imagery, and distribution strategies
  • Drive incremental inbound Sales and Partnership leads by uncovering new marketing opportunities to promote SHE Media’s portfolio of products, editorial and events, innovative technology, and both internal and Network partner talent.
  • This role will work with industry partners to market the SHE Media value proposition through PR and marketing partnerships (IAB, Ad Council, Mission-aligned partners)
  • B:B Marketing: Market the SHE Media Partner Network and Meaningful Marketplaces value proposition across digital channels to Creators, Advertisers and Industry constituents
  • This role will be accountable to managing SHE Media social accounts, with focus on building awareness with Creators/Partners and B2B Clients/Vendors

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in a marketing or PR role, preferably at a Media/Entertainment company
  • Understanding of Social, Display, Search and down-funnel performance for digital marketing (organic and paid) campaigns
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data, and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations
  • Keen interest in learning about new technologies and implementing new digital tools and processes; comfort with spinning things up from scratch
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
  • A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, ESP/CRM tools, and Social Ad Platforms a plus

The term “Creator” refers to a content publisher who produces high quality, original content for an audience of, primarily, women ages 18- next life.
