FMG is looking for an experienced B2B sales leader to oversee our US and international sales team across WWD, Beauty Inc and Footwear News. In this role, the SVP Sales will lead a team of 9 sellers to grow business with a digital-first mindset across all pillars of business including: digital, events, ecommerce, custom content and print. The SVP of sales will guide the sales team, work with top clients, and work closely with key business-side stakeholders as well as FMG editors to drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in digital solutions within multi-platform digital, including native advertising/custom content marketing solutions, mobile, video, event and date-based audience solutions.
- Leverage key relationships and industry expertise to help drive revenue.
- Work closely with varied members of the leadership team across PMC, including corporate sales, international and audience development to further revenue growth.
- Partner with marketing leadership to generate ideas and platforms that are drawn from a deep understanding of categoric client objectives.
- Facilitate strategic partnerships in the marketplace where mutual value can be built in collaboration.
- Hire, lead, motivate and develop sales team members. Work closely with sellers to develop their digital knowledge and further their skills.
- Lead the weekly sales meeting which includes sales, marketing, events, Studio, design teams.
- Manage weekly estimates with sales and accurately forecast numbers.
