Penske Media Corporation, whose award-winning content across more than 23 media brands attracts a passionate monthly audience of more than 310 million, is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Manager, DTC Ecommerce Marketing to join our team. This person will join a fast-scaling, mission-oriented company with a highly collaborative team. As a key member of the domestic product licensing team, this person will lead performance and growth marketing efforts for DTC ecommerce product offerings across the PMC portfolio. This role will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing plans for branded merchandise under the Rolling Stone, Billboard, WWD and Robb Report brands, among others, and for products in categories including apparel, food and beverage, online education, special edition box sets, and NFTs.

This newly formed position will be an instrumental part of our rapidly-growing licensing and merchandising team and will report to the Senior Director, Licensing and Brand Partnerships, with a dotted line to the AVP, Digital Marketing.


  • Manage planning, copy development, timelines, budget and execution for digital marketing activities that drive DTC sales across PMC brands and uncover new opportunities for growth
  • Responsible for managing and delivering against aggressive business targets, growth and profitability objectives, both in the short and long term, across new launches and existing products
  • Partner with internal brand teams to tailor and execute plans for each brand’s needs and resources in order to maximize conversion
  • Define, measure and review performance ROIs and report on key metrics, including A/B testing results, to the licensing and brand teams, as well as suggest improvements
  • Support forecasting process to assist in inventory planning and order management

Required experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of digital performance marketing experience at a high-growth DTC brand and/or at a performance marketing agency
  • Demonstrated success building and executing campaigns across all digital marketing channels, including but not limited to organic and paid social, email and display ads
  • Understanding of best practices in writing CTAs, social and newsletter copy and working with creative teams to maximize conversion
  • Experience using some ecommerce marketing and analytics tools such as Shopify, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and ESPs e.g. SF Marketing Cloud, Marketo etc.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects across functions and brands
  • A confident self-starter with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to drive results
