Primetimer is looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Editor to oversee our enthusiastic and hard-working team of editors and writers.

About Primetimer is a fast-growing digital media site covering the ever-evolving world of TV with a daily mix of news, features, and reviews. We believe that television has the ability to entertain, inform and uplift, and we seek to do the same with our work.

About the Role
The Deputy Editor will report directly to the Editor-in-Chief and will work closely with the site's category editors, assigning and editing stories, and ensuring exceptional quality. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with an attention to detail who can help develop and polish a range of stories, ensuring smart writing, compelling headlines, and the latest SEO best practices.

This position requires a minimum of five years experience in a digital newsroom and a deep knowledge and passion for television and streaming media. This is a hand-on role that will require rolling up your sleeves; a basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop skills are a must.
