Designer, Marketing Art, PRH Audio

We are currently seeking a Designer to join the Marketing Art Department in the Penguin Random House Audio Division. Working closely with the art, marketing, and publicity teams in the Audio group, this position will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating original artwork for blog and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities include:
* Conceptualization and design of original website blog, email marketing, and social media assets, ideally with illustration skills as a potential alternative to stock art usage
* Design of digital advertising (static and animated banners)
* Working with senior designers on conceptualizing and executing large ad campaigns
* Ongoing tracking of trends and current design styles for use in advertising

* Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in visual design, preferably with a background or strong interest in marketing design and experience in liaising with clients
* Demonstrated ability to innovate and bring new ideas while also respecting deadlines and project scope
* Knowledge of graphic design principles and motion graphics
* Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)
* Illustration and photography skills
* Aptitude for forward-thinking, cross-platform design concepts
* Knowledge of and experience using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
* Extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects at once
* Self-starter who can rapidly adapt to changing priorities
* Able to handle individual projects while also working as a member of a collaborative team


Helpful additional skills:
* Knowledge of agile development process
* Experience or interest in user experience design and user interface design, including mobile device standards and responsive design
